Truly Blessed Boutique - REVIEW & GIVEAWAY

I love giveaways.  I really, really do.  There is excitement in the air from the moment I announce a giveaway until the moment that a winner is announced - and then I try to announce another giveaway right away. *wink*

This giveaway is special to me because the woman behind it is one of the most beautiful women I've ever met.  No joke!  Not only is she stunning on the outside, but she is just as sweet and amazing on the inside.
Truly Blessed Boutique is her latest venture, and she has begun making many custom one of a kind items that are perfect for the little princess in your life.
My girls fell in love with the headband that she sent us, and Ella was particularly thrilled to be modeling it for me today.  She said that she loves how pretty and sparkly it is.  I was amazed by how well made it is! If you haven't noticed a theme in my reviews, with four kiddos durability is a big deal because when I purchase an item I want to be certain that it's not going to wear out on us.
Truly Blessed Boutique has headbands, infant caps, bows, and so much more.  Spending even a few minutes browsing her page will definitely leave you with a wish list.
She is kindly offering this headband to one lucky reader today!  You will have a week to enter, and you won't be disappointed.

I hope that you have as much fun entering this giveaway as we did while taking the photos!

My New Recycled Benches

We have an absolutely gorgeous traditional style (probably very expensive at one time) table that was given to us by a generous couple.  They said, "We don't have a big family around our table.  You can put this to better use."  It was super duper sweet, and it has served us well!\
When they gave us the table, they kept their chairs because they still needed them to go with their new table.  They felt so bad about not giving us the chairs (Seriously??  Can you imagine feeling guilty after such generosity??) that they bought us four chairs from a yard sale and delivered those to our home, too!
After a few years, I managed to even fall through one of the rickety yard sale chairs.  Don't get me wrong - they served us well, but they are more than well used by now and we only have two of them left!
Since I'm a huge fan of all things recycled, upcycled, rusty, and a little bit junky - I begged a friend to get me some old junk pallets from her work.  Allen whipped each of these benches up in a little over an hour, and it took me only minutes to attack them with a paint brush.
The wood was free.  The screws were already in his tool shed.  The paint was just paint from around our house plus two new colors that I picked up from a reject shelf for $5 each.  The pretty glass marbles were purchased for another project that I'll be sharing soon.  That makes the total cost of our new seating:

What do you think of my latest project?
